Sunset March 15 and 16

The weather cleared up and shaped out to be a nice evening on the 15 and 16 of March.  On Friday, Michele and I went to the Annunciation Fish-Fry for dinner.  Afterward, we decided to head the coast to capture the sunset at Atlantic Beach.  It was 71 degrees when we got there, but in two hours the temperature drop by 20 degree.  The wind changed from a southeast to northeast at sunset.  So we decided to check out the view from the Morehead City-Atlantic Beach Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway and Bogue Sound.  It wasn’t a bad place and I will need to add it to my list.  Fort Macon was due to close at 1800, and we got to Atlantic Beach around 1730, so we went to our favor spot at Atlantic Beach.  Due the Nor’easter, there was major beach erosion. I wanted to test out lowing the shutter speed to create a milky setting, but I got something better with the wave hitting the pier.  I was using my Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8G lens.
