It was MLK weekend and my birthday. My sons came to town on Friday night and we had dinner at MJs Raw Bar and Grille. I never had bad meal at MJs. The weather was weird. On Friday and Saturday, it was warm in the 60s, and Sunday the ceiling drop out and the high was only in the 30s. We went to Atlantic Beach Saturday to take the dogs for the walk on the beach. Unfortunately, I forgot the first rule of Photography, check your equipment before going on a shoot. The battery in my Nikon camera was dead, and I forgot to bring the back up battery. Michele and boy brought me Nikon D7100 last year for my birthday. I was windy and the surf was rough, we weren’t planning on going swimming, just spend quality time with the family.
On Sunday, Michele and took the dogs to Emerald Isle for sunset picture. What a difference a day mades. On MLK Day (Monday), it warmed up. I went to Bridgeton to capture the sunset over New Bern. Sometime, I like taking sunset pictures with some clouds to get the difference colors. Tuesday, it was more clouds than clear sky, but I made the best of it.
